A School- Because a Tent Shouldn’t Be A Classroom
In Ngombe, Lusaka, 198 children, including 110 girls, attend school everyday in a fragile, makeshift shelter. No real classrooms. No clean water. No privacy.
This space, held together by tarps and determination, is the only option they have. And while amazing instruction and growth is already happening, what these kids really need… is a real school. We’re talking walls, desks, bathrooms, and bookshelves—a school that’s more than survival. A school built to last. Sparkle and Rise believes that all children deserve the right to high-quality education, and that includes having a proper facility. Help us empower these 198 kids as they fight against odds, and work together to create a brighter future for themselves.
